Our History

1977-1979

1977 Our founder’s father, Ming T. Lin, utilized the most advance vacuum technology developed by Taiwan Technology Development Institute to manufacture a line of unbreakable stainless steel vacuum bottles. This product line, with its durability and contemporary design, would go on to redefine the thermal drinkware category.

1980-1989

1980 Ming T. Lin began manufacturing stainless steel thermal drinkware under the Solid Vacuum Bottle name in Taiwan since 1980. Solid Vacuum’s constant technological advancement and continuous pursuit of quality excellence have earned the company a promising all-around-the-world reputation as an excellent OEM / ODM manufacturing partner.

1990-1999

1994 Timolino Ltd. was incorporated in Las Vegas, Nevada and founded by Timothy Lin.

1996 The brand new state-of-the-art manufacturing facility was completed on 45 acres of land in China’s Jiang-Su Province and began serving customers in Europe, Asia and North America.

1997 The headquarter office of Timolino Ltd found its home in Laguna Hills, California.

1998 A revolutionary line of Timolino thermal drinkware was put together by an experienced product development team consisting of the best graphic designers, mechanical drafters and engineers.

2000 and beyond

2000 Timolino relocates to its new 20,000 square feet distribution center in Aliso Viejo, California.

2001 In March of this year, Timolino iMug was voted by the Specialty Coffee Association of America as the Best New Product in the Coffee Accessory Category.

2002 Timolino introduced its line of leakproof travel mugs, allowing simple one-handed operation: press the lever to drink and release to close. Now you can conveniently take your Joe from one place to another with no leak or spill.

2003 Timolino Countertop Vacuum Carafe with Content ID System was voted by the Specialty Coffee Association of America as the Best New Product in the Coffee Accessory Category. It’s Timolino’s second award from the SCAA.

2004 Timolino introduces its exclusive line of coffee & tea makers. Travette Tea Maker offers a revolutionary loose tea infuser basket design and is vacuum insulated to keep your tea hotter than the traditional ceramic or glass tea pot. Our line of French Presses features all stainless steel design and will not rust or tarnish like chrome. Aromatic Australian Press, with its ingenious gravity filtration system, redefines how coffee and tea are made at home and is selected as a Finalist in the Best Non-Food Category by the Specialty Food Association of America

2005 Timolino begins its new brand campaign in making a bold break from the industry’s obsession with prices. Instead, we are reaffirming the importance of value. That value presents a solution for today’s mobile lifestyle ?enjoy the freedom of mobility while being able to relax in style and comfort. Our point is that Timolino helps people live their lives in ways that are rewarding, relevant, and fun.

2006 Timolino introduces a new line of infuser bottle for on-the-go coffee & tea connoisseur.

2007 Timolino introduces the newly designed Ingeni Coffee & Tea Maker. Our best-selling Travette Tea Maker now comes in a large 34 oz. capacity. Vizio Vacuum Bottle is now available in 3 different sizes - 12 oz., 17 oz. and 34 oz.
