CSUF Grad Orientation

Fall is just around the corner, and with the changing leaves comes the change of pace for all the students in our lives. Whether you’re walking to class, taking a lecture or unwinding in the quad, it’s important to stay hydrated. It’s easy to forget to drink up when your routine’s pace picks up. Having a few sips here and there throughout the day will do wonders for you mentally, physically and emotionally.
Water makes up over 50% of our bodies. Break it down even more and we find that it composes over 80% of our blood, 75% of our brain and more than 20% of our bones. When we become dehydrated, our blood is one of the first of our temple’s factories to take a hit. Blood thickens, becoming more difficult for the heart to pump to vital organs. Thicker blood also carries less oxygen. Oxygen powers your brain. The less O2 we feed our noggins, the more ineffective it becomes. So, no matter how your days change, keep up your water intake and watch your body glow.
Join the us as we welcome the brightest new bulbs of our futures. California State University Fullerton new graduate orientation is Saturday, August 15, 2015 starting at 8:30am. The Timolino booth will include a raffle, prize wheel, free gifts, coupons and just good ‘ol fashioned stainless steel hydration gear with your name on it (not literally with your name on it..but we can definitely make that happen!). Hope to see you there!
